"Badger! Watch out!" The siamese tabby tom sprang from a bale of hay to the ground where a black tom with a white stripe down his back sat. The black tom stood up just in time. "Nice, Fleck," he said. Fleck nodded with a grin. Traitor had been his first friend in the forest after he ran from his Twoleg home, and he still was his best friend. He even trusted Fleck enough to tell him his true story, the whole thing. He found out that his name was really Badgerheart, and Fleck liked that more than Traitor, so he now called him Badger. At the moment, they were the only loners living there that they knew of. It was possible that there were others and they never saw each other, but neither really knew. Fleck jumped at Traitor and attacked him with sheathed claws. Traitor immedaitely attacked back, and they were rolling around in a bundle of fur, and Traitor was reminded of being a kit in LightClan camp, before the earthquake, before Silverstar, before everything. "You're a great fighter, Fleck," Traitor said hapily. "Thanks, Badger," Fleck said. "That means a lot, coming from a cat who was trained by an expert on how to fight." Traitor nodded. "I've had apprentices before, Fleck. You know that," he said. "I could teach you how to fight." "But I don't need to know," Fleck said, shrugging.
OOC|| Anyone who remembers Fleck from before, yes, I did change how he looks. The old picture for him is broken now, and I don't entirely remember what he looked like.

Zane poked his head into the barn cautiously. He could see two loners inside, chating about something."They may or not be friendly..." he muttered to himself."...but I still haven't explored this barn yet so..." The brown tom began to pad inside, looking a bit wary.

"Zane..." Fleck echoed. "That's a nice name." His ears perked happily as he padded back over to Badger. "This, my friend, is Bad-" "Traitor," Badger cut him off, shooting Fleck an annoyed glance. He didn't want anyone he didn't know well to know about his past, or be able to make any connection from him to lightClan or StormClan or Slashclaw. He looked at the newcomer, searching his face for any emotion. As far as he was concerned, anyone he didn't know could be a threat. Part of that had come from living in LightClan for so long, where strangers on your territory meant interregation.
OOC|| Yes, I will refer to him when I'm roleplaying as Badger. Only when they're speaking will I actually call him Traitor. It's hard to think of our favorite little Badgerheart as Traitor.

"He's got a great story that earned him that name," Fleck offered, looking at Badger hopefully. Every time the story was told, it got more and more exciting, even if it was the same story. "Can I?" "Honestly Fleck, we've only just met him, and you want to tell him my life story?" Badger replied. His meow dropped to a whisper. "We can't be sure that we can trust him yet..." "So? He seems nice," Fleck said. Though, having been born as a kittypet, he had a blurred vision of who was friend or foe.

"Please?" Fleck begged. "Maybe. Not yet, atleast," Badger said, then turned back to Zane, ignoring a pouting Fleck. "Feel free to get a mouse or two for yourself, or make a nest. Make yourself comfortable."

"Of course," Badger said politely. He looked over at his cream-colored friend, who was pouncing at an imaginary mouse. He was like an owergrown kit sometimes, but he was still his best friend.

Zane glanced at the two loners, barely suppressing an amused purr as he watched Fleck pounce at an imaginary mouse. If they were planning on attacking him, they didn't seem all that threatening....Maybe they were friendly after all...The brown tom was interrupted from his thought by a small rustling and he turned to see a plump mouse skittering around nearby. Zane immediately dropped into a hunter's crouch and cept foward. The mouse didn't suspec a thing and, with a swift pounce, was easily caught by Zane.

"It's getting warmer over here..." Fleck said, as he came into an area in the sun, coming in from the window. "I love this. Hey, Badger, can I claim this spot? You can have the wheelbarrow back if you want it."
"Sure, Fleck. Whatever you want," Badger said, rolling his eyes. "Why not go get some bedding for yourself? And some fresh for the wheelbarrow, and, if he needs it, some for Zane?"

Zane glanced at Fleck."Yeah..." he replied, still slightly mystified by their kindness. Most loners chased him off. He was, after all, still a kittypet.
