Talonblaze padded up the slope to the mossy rocks. "We're here," He whispered. Goldenflicker stared out and gasped. "Wow..." She breathed. Below them lie the forsest, black with the night. Tiny specks of yellow-green light flew around them. "Fireflies..." Goldenflicker whispered. "Beautiful, isn't it?" Talonblaze said, lying down. "Yes..."Goldenflicker agreed and sat down next to him. She mentally kicked herself. 'How could you doubt your own mate?' she thought. 'Of course he loves you!!!' She pushed her head into Talonblaze's side. "I'm glad you took me here tonight." she purred. "I am too," Talonblaze whispered back.The two cats sat together, purring happily.
