Amberleaf padded into the nursery and sat down on her nest after coming from Maplestar's den. She was still in shock from discovering Maplestar's secret. How could she? Amberleaf remembered being a little apprentice, looked down upon for being a kittypet, and being taught the ways of the warriors by a brown warrior, Maplewind, on the journey. What happened to her? If Maplestar stressed one thing, it was this- you must mate within your own Clan. Was it because she was already regretting her friendship with Eaglestar, or what?

Frozennight followed his mate into the Nursery. He was still thinking of what he had talked to Maplestar about. He looked at his mate with ice blue eyes and smiled, he could remember when she first came to the clan, even then he thought that she was the most beautiful shecat in the Clan. Now he thought that same thought still and another thought, that he was the luckiest tom in the clan for having such a beautiful mate and soon kits. The thought of kits made him think of his Leader. "So how are you?" he asked tring to get his mind off the brown shecat and onto other things.

"I'm fine," Amberleaf said, smiling. Frozennight was wonderful. He really was. She remembered him being one of the first cats to not look down their noses at her for being kittypet-born. Then she remembered Cealy, her sister, who she left behind in twolegplace. She wondered how she was doing. She looked up and brought herself back to here, and now.

Icc. "Okay I am a little hungry..Im going to get us something to eat,be right back" he mewed softly. The large white tom looked at his mate then turned to head out of the Nursery, but had a strange feeling that something was going to happen, but he kept moving,....

Amberleaf nodded. She set her head on her paws and awaited Frozennight's return. Then, feelings of pain and pressure erupted. She inhaled sharply and painfully. Her breathing became fast and panicked. The kits...
OOC|| Once Frozennight returns, I'll skip the actual birth. Unneccesary, if you ask me. TMI, entriely.

Icc. Frozennight padded over to the to the freshkill pile and grabbed two mice from it. He had a strange felling that something was wrong with Amberleaf and hurried back to the Nursery.

Amberleaf let out a sigh of relief. It was finally over. Curled at her side were three beautiful kits. One black, like herself, another mostly white, like Frozennight, and the last gray, as if a mix between the two. The gray one pushed the white one, and she pulled all three closer to herself to suckle. She couldn't help smile as she looked at them.

Frozennight sat with Amberleaf throught the whole thing and he was proud of her. He looked at his kits and smiled, then turned his gaze back to his mate. "So what shall we name them Amberleaf?" he asked softly and calmly. The three kits looked like their parents, one black, one mostly white and the other grey.

"That one," Amberleaf said, pointing at the white kit. "Should be Spottykit, for those spots on her pelt." She smiled, and lay her tail over the backs of the kits protectively, even though there was no danger to them near.

Frozennight nodded at the name that she had given the white shecat with spots on her pelt. He looked over at the black kit sweeping his tail over the toms back"What shall his name be?" he asked. This kit was his only son and he hoped that one day he would make his father proud.

"Ravenkit?" Amberleaf suggested. "His fur is as black as a raven's feather." She licked the top of his head, making him flinch. But he recognized it as comfort and went back to suckling milk from his mother.

Frozennight loved the name for his son. He looked at his last and final kit, it was a grey shecat that had a sense of resemblence to her that Frozennight couldnt figure out. He smiled at the shecat and then looked at his mate "How about we call her Flickerkit?" he asked his mate hoping that she liked the name, for some reason Frozennight couldnt figure out why he wanted to name her that but the name felt right to him at least

Frozennight nodded and then licked his mate one her ear. "You need rest now get some" he ordered with hunor and love in his voice. He padded to the entrance of the Nursery and took one last look at the Queen and his kits, then padded out to see what all needed to be done

Amberleaf nodded, and lay her head down on the ground. She curled slightly tighter to make sure the kits got more warmth. She closed her eyes, all thoughts of Maplestar and Eaglestar temporarily faded away.
